About
Colorado sets no qualification standard for home inspectors, which makes Jon Rudolph's résumé worth reading: a civil engineering degree, ASHI certification, and more than 5,500 inspections since he founded Inspections by Referral in 2002. He does the inspections himself, out of Loveland, and covers the area from Denver to the Wyoming border, coming up to Estes Park as well. He is insured and background checked.
The reports are the standout, detailed and color coded, and he takes time to explain what he found. New builds and 11th-month warranty checks come up often, and add-ons include sewer scopes, radon testing and infrared thermal imaging. Pre-listing, rental, multi-unit and commercial inspections are on the list too.
