Big Horn is a family-run restaurant at the west end of downtown on West Elkhorn, and breakfast is its reputation: chicken fried steak, biscuits and sausage gravy, hash browns, eggs Benedict and numbered combos like steak and two eggs.
Lunch and dinner lean on BBQ and comfort plates, with trout, an elk burger and a pulled pork sandwich among the regulars. Prices are low for downtown. It opens early enough for a sunrise start in the Park, takes reservations, and has a patio where dogs can sit. Catering and party bookings are handled too. Village Barbershop and Patterson Glassworks are next door.
