Inside the YMCA of the Rockies grounds, a few steps from the General Store and the guest registration building, the Rustic Cafe is where the campus gets breakfast, lunch and coffee without driving back to town. Pizza is the order people mention most, and the hot cocoa has a small following of its own. Comfort food, dessert, low prices.
It opens early enough to eat before a park day, and a solo diner won't feel out of place. Takeout works if the plan is dinner back at the cabin, and dogs are allowed on the patio. Expect plenty of fellow visitors, since the YMCA fills up in summer. And nobody here is going to judge a second cocoa.
