Longs Peak is the whole attraction, and this viewpoint about six and a half miles from downtown, well past Mary's Lake, is about looking at it. The view is what people come for and what they talk about afterward. It is easy with kids, so it works as a short stop on a drive rather than a project, and the drive out is part of the point.
