About
Fishing here is priced by the inch, $1.35 for every inch of rainbow trout that comes out of the water, and everything caught has to be kept. It is a stocked pond run by the resort of the same name, out on Riverside Drive a little over a mile from downtown, and a catch is close to guaranteed, which makes it a good first fishing trip for a kid.
Staff will clean the catch for a small fee, or take it as a donation and cover the cleaning themselves. The friendly staff and the tidy grounds are what people mention most. It is cards only, no cash, and the pond is wheelchair accessible. Set a limit before a determined kid starts reeling; the bill adds up an inch at a time.
