About

Out on Manford Avenue, a short walk from Lake Estes and about a mile from downtown, the fairgrounds are where the town throws its big parties. Estes Park Events runs the indoor and outdoor space and the equestrian facilities, and the calendar fills from January to November: the First Peoples Festival, Wine & Chocolate in February, Whiskey Warm Up in March, Bigfoot Days in April, the Wool Market in June, the Rooftop Rodeo in July, Elk Fest in October and a craft spirits and brew festival to close out the year.

The rodeo and the festivals are what people come for, with fireworks and barbecue somewhere in the mix. On quieter days there's a dog park and room to walk, and the grounds are wheelchair accessible. Organizers can rent the space with staff and concessions included.
