Every trip here is private. Groups are never combined, and gear is never an upcharge: rods, reels, waders, boots, flies and snacks all come with it. The shop is on East Elkhorn, in the same building as the U.S. Bank branch, with free parking.

The water covers the Big Thompson, Fall River, Lake Estes, Rocky Mountain National Park and more than thirty alpine lakes. Brown trout come up most, then rainbows, cutthroat and brookies, and there are bass and warmwater trips for variety. Advanced anglers get trips built around what they are after. Trips range from two-hour sunrise outings to full backcountry days.

Patience is the word that follows these guides around, which is why so many first-timers book here. There are beginner lessons and kids' camps, ASL-certified guides on request, and the outfit holds Park permits and a DORA license. In summer, take the sunrise slot and beat the crowds to the water.
