Glass, metal and wood are the three materials that carry Earthwood Collections, an art and gift shop on East Elkhorn facing Bond Park. A lot of it is local work, and the pieces lean one-of-a-kind rather than stacked by the dozen. The staff know the work well and are glad to talk about how a piece was made or who made it.
It sits a few doors from BLADES and Rocky Mountain Connection, right in the middle of the downtown walk, so it's an easy stop between other errands on Elkhorn. Gifts are what most people leave with, and there are souvenirs too for anyone who still needs one for the folks back home. It opens on Sundays, when some of the street is quieter.
