Out on Moraine Avenue, on the road toward Beaver Meadows and next door to Bandit's Bikes, this is the shop to stop in before the Park, not after. Fly fishing is the heart of it: flies tied for the local water, fishing licenses, and straight advice on where to go. Backpacking, camping and hiking gear fill the rest of the floor, boots included.

Rentals are a big part of the business, and microspikes are the thing to grab when trails turn icy in the shoulder seasons. The staff also run guided fly fishing, hiking and snowshoe trips as a licensed outfitter, and teach fly tying. Wildflower Bakery and Jeep Jeep Tacos are a short walk away for coffee or a breakfast burrito.
