About
Out on Tunnel Road, four and a half miles from downtown and past Mary's Lake, this campground sits in quiet forest with deer wandering between the sites. The bathrooms and hot showers are clean, which is the first thing campers point out, and the camp hosts get a lot of credit for how the place runs. Sites come with picnic tables and bear boxes.
RV sites have electric, water and sewer hookups, and pets are welcome. Hiking starts close by, so it works as a base without driving into town every morning, and the Park's Beaver Meadows entrance is a short drive away. Nights are quiet, and wildlife viewing is part of most stays here.
