Location is the whole pitch, and it holds up. These vacation flats sit on Virginia Drive at the center of downtown, next to SOLE Rooftop Cantina and a short walk from Rapid Transit Rafting and Bears Den. Being able to walk everywhere is the thing people bring up most.

Units run from studios and one-bedrooms to a three-bedroom that sleeps eight, all with kitchens, and some with laundry, a private deck or a loft. Bear Lake, Longs Peak and Elkhorn lend a few of them their names, and some look out toward the river or the mountains. The lofts get particular mention.

The property manager answers quickly, the hosts are easy to deal with, and the units are kept clean. Staff are personable, and fun is a word that keeps coming up. The Stanley Hotel is about a ten-minute walk, and Bond Park and the Riverwalk are around the corner.
