Up Fall River Road, a mile and a half short of the Park entrance, Timber Creek Chalets is a group of rustic cabins and chalets with kitchens, Wi-Fi and, in some units, a private hot tub. It is one of five Rocky Mountain Resorts properties, along with Fawn Valley Inn, Lazy R Cottages, Sunnyside Knoll and Triple R Cottages.

Clean is the word that follows this place around, more than any other. After that it is the hot tubs, the comfortable beds, the fireplaces and a heated pool that opens in season. The staff get a warm mention too.

Dogs are welcome, and the company runs a dog park and pet boarding for Park days when the dog stays behind. ATV rentals, guided tours and cross-country skiing show up in the listings, and there is a free movie library for snowed-in nights. Group lodging and gift certificates are available too.
