On a fall Sunday with the NFL on, this pub on South St. Vrain is where the game is. Every big one goes on the screens, there's a pool table and an open fire, and the bar keeps going late. It's one of the easier places in town to get a beer and a burger after the dinner rush has wound down.

The fish and chips are the order people come back for, and the calzone and stromboli are the house's other strong suit. Poutine, truffle mac and cheese, fried mushrooms and BBQ nachos cover the bar-snack side, and chicken alfredo and chicken parmesan show up for anyone who wants a real plate.

Karaoke nights and live music turn up on the calendar. Dogs are fine on the patio, kids have their own menu, and the place takes reservations for a bigger group. It's a short walk from the fairgrounds, next to the BTEC Design Shop.
