When half the table wants bison and the other half eats vegan, this Mexican cantina on East Elkhorn handles both without fuss. Bison is the house signature, turning up in enchiladas, tacos and a burger, while falafel tacos and a chicken fajita bowl cover the rest. The margarita list is long: mango boba, strawberry chipotle, Aperol, a spicy one, and a flight for anyone who can't pick.

The river view is the other reason to come, and the outdoor tables fill first when the weather is good. It sits a couple of blocks east of the main downtown corner, next to Sticks-N-Stones, and takes reservations. Mexican mules and a Mexican old fashioned are there for a change from tequila and lime.
