Inside Rocky Mountain National Park, a few miles from either the Fall River or Beaver Meadows entrance, Beaver Ponds is a stop built around a boardwalk. It's flat, short and wheelchair accessible, with places to sit along the way. Moose are the animal people hope for here and fairly often get, and elk show up too. It stays quiet, which suits the watching. Anyone wanting more than the boardwalk can stretch it into a hike from the same spot.
