Near Lake Estes on Big Thompson Avenue, a little over a mile from downtown, the Silver Saddle is a standard Best Western Plus done reasonably well. Ask for a balcony room: the mountain view from it is the best thing about the place, and some rooms add a fireplace. The hot tub gets plenty of use, there's an indoor pool and a seasonal one, breakfast is hot and Wi-Fi is free. Elk turn up on the grounds now and then.
