Coyote Mountain Lodge is on Big Thompson Avenue a little over a mile from downtown, a few minutes from Lake Estes and the marina, and the rooms have been updated, some with private balconies or patios looking at the mountains. Elk show up on the grounds now and then. The front desk is helpful, the setup is motel-style and unfussy, and the lodge takes group and reunion blocks.
