Anniversaries bring more couples to Riversong than any other occasion, with weddings and elopements close behind. It is a bed and breakfast on the river, down Lower Broadview Road a couple of miles from downtown, and the seclusion out there is a large part of the appeal.

Rooms and cabins are airy, some with whirlpool or soaking tubs, several with fireplaces, and there is a yurt for anyone who wants canvas walls. Breakfast comes with the stay and afternoon tea is served. Massage happens in another yurt beside the river, and picnic lunch, wellness and Park tour packages can be added to a stay.

The grounds earn their keep. Walking trails run through the property, the Seven Benches Trail among them, along with a labyrinth, a sauna and hot tubs. Anglers can fly fish without leaving, and in winter the snowshoes come out at the door. Honeymoons and vow renewals fill in the calendar, and the inn also hosts crafting retreats and family reunions.
