The buffet is what most people come for, and it makes this one of the faster sit-down meals downtown. Nepal's Cafe is just off Elkhorn by the Riverwalk, next to Raven's Roast and Rocky Mountain Crepe Company, in a small, colorful room with an unhurried, small-room feel that suits a slow lunch.

Ordering from the menu, samosas lead, followed by lamb curry, vegetable momos, saag paneer, mutter paneer, a mango curry and lamb biryani. Momos also come with chicken or kothe style, and there are noodle dishes and thali plates. Vegetarians and vegans are well covered, and the tea gets real attention. Reservations are taken, there's a kids' menu, and dogs can join on the patio.
